Hey all, i was shown this forum from one of my very best friends who's going to be working the UK pavillion soon. I was wondering how one gets a job in the US pavillian? I mean, im an american, im aware you need to be from the country to work at the pavillion. If im wrong, and the 'american adventure' thing isn't actually a US based pavillion, please someone explain it to me? I'm going to be an american college program CM in 9 days, in QSFaB.. it would be ironic if that's where they put me. Though i'd like to work for Disney after im eligable for the CP, hence my quesetion
As far as I understand it, AA operates as all other WDW locations do (with the exception of the rest of World Showcase). Basically, you would be hired for the job role (i.e. attractions, QSF&B etc.) and then you could be placed anywhere. I really don't know how requesting a specific location would work? I know it's not possible on the CP but for regular hourly roles, I really couldn't say. Although, I'm leaning towards thinking it would be just as for the CP. :-\ Ona x
Hm, that's reassuring at least. That CP's work in the AA. Im a QSFB CP so if that's not where im placed (epcot) I can possibly pick up OT shifts there if available. I really want to work in the UK pavillion.. i spent nearly 2 years in london/brighton and worked in a pub like the rose and crown! but alas... *sad*
There are non-UK folks who work in the Uk Pavilion. Kitchen staff, custodial, data maintainance, entertainment, management etc. so if you still want to do that after your CP, it's not out of the realms of possibility. Ona x
