I've been looking at hotels for a placement in September, and Travel Lodge have special deals on from time to time with rooms availablae at £25/night; if you can get that deal for the dates you want, it's great
Try travel lodge and if you find rooms available for £26 per night book them right way - dont wait! I waited till the day after and they had already sold out. I'm now staying at the Easy (jet) Hotel which at £45 per night is not bad but seriously there is nothing of the room, its like a double bed and a tiny toilet/shower plus a flat screen tv on the wall that i have pay for if i want to watch.
