Yay so I am from Ontario and got a call yesterday from Kristin. So she said she is going to go over some information about the program and what not. Is that when they schedual a telephone interview?
hey! did you get an email saying that they would call for a phone interview? I sent my application in june and received an email saying i had a phoen interview, and then had the interview last friday am waiting on whether i get a f2f or not. My guess would be that they phone call was the interview as she did go over that i had a passport, and what area i would like to work in and what not. you could ring her back? or else i'm sure she will call again
If your from Ontario most likely you will have to wait till the Spring 2009 interviews. The fall ones are for the west coast ones and the spring ones are for the east coast ones. Not to say you cant travel out west for the f2f. They did not seem to want me to when I applied last year at this time. (I am from Ontario as well.) they made me wait till February interviews. But if you want to make the travel to Calgary or Vancouver you should get a hold of her and say your really interested in traveling out there and such. I tried that but apparently I did not push hard enough by the sounds of it. If you do nothing most likely she wont get back in touch with you till it is time for the interviews in Toronto. (Spring 2009)
During my phone interview Kristen said the interviews in Toronto will probably be September/Octoberish. So maybe drop them a line so you can try to get in on that.
Weird. Wonder if they are going to do them all at once now on. That would be tough on them but better for us. Hope they arnt leaving the poor west cost people out though. Yes either way I think you should contact them. Nothing bad comes from contacting them. Just be prepared for a sudden interview if you do. You never know. (I called like crazy over my half a year of waiting so when it was time for my real phone interview Eric knew exactly who I was when I called. Probably was like "Ok lets pass her though so she will stop calling. LOL." And Kristen is super nice too. So just give her a call and say you heard others were getting interviews and you were wondering what your status is. If you don't you leave it too long then you might not get in even if they were meaning to. It is common for things to be forgotten or miss placed.
