Hey! I wasn't sure exactly where to post this...but i was wondering when you're a cast member can you go in the back entrance/backstage area of all the parks or just the one you work in? Mainly I just think it would be cool to get to see the utilidors and wonder if i can seeing as i'll only be working at epcot? Thanks
Hello, You can go backstage of other parks just fine, to visit company D or whatever, but don't use them for short-cuts when your a 'guest'. The utiladoors however you're not supposed to go in them just to 'walk through them' kinda thing, so go with someone who knows their way, because boy you can get easilly lost there. And if someone finds out you're just walking through without working in mk, you might get in trouble (very handy for escaping the crazy wishes crowd though!) Hope that helps!
so can you only go backstage when you're in uniform? or do you get an id card of some sort you can have on you to show?
Hey, you don't have to be in uniform to go back stage, you just have to have your Disney ID on show, on your lanyard
Yeah, at Epcot its not so bad to go backstage because that's the only place that the buses drop you off at (and the International trailer is back there where the disney learning centre is) but at MK the bus drops you off at the TTC and you're supposed to get off there. I worked at MK so I never had a problem!
OK cool. That'd be kind of embarrassing getting caught wandering around there cuz you're lost lol. Although I'm sure it's happened

Hey, 1st ive worked for disney twice, MK and Epcot and I had no clue about this website! lol! Anyway, yea your not supposed to go backstage in any parks, but there is so much going on that as long as you have your id badge on you, your pretty much fine.
the utiladoors are the under ground tunnels where cast members can get around the park with out been seen, the idea came about after Walt Disney saw a wild west cast member in uniform walking through tomorrowland in Disney California

There are no tunnels! Jeeze...don't let all the general public know it's a Disney secret. But if there were tunnels, no there is no music playing lol, but the entrance to them does have characters on the wall and stuff.
They're been mentioned everywhere...if you ever got the Walt Disney World Explorer for the computer (it had hidden Mickey hunts...how cool!) one of the special prizes for finding information was a clip on the utlidors with Mickey walking down them).
well inside the tunnel there are a lot of characters¡¡¡¡¡ just not on the walls if you know what I mean¡¡ (and after getting in some trouble for posting something like this on another topic.....i will just let you wonder¡¡¡)
