    heyhey all...

been looking on net for bedding...woah its so dear in america!! BUT bed bath and beyond do these cool beds in a bag thingys.
In america they dont make beds like we do over here. they dont have duvets with duvet covers and press studs etc.
they have comforters..these are like patterned duvets that stay on ur bed but u dont actually sleep under these u have flat sheets. U wash the flat sheets but not the comforter. Then u have a pillow and a sham.
The twin (single) beds in a bag come with a pillow case (for a pillow u buy seperately) a sham (which is a square cushion) a dust ruffle (a valance) a fitted sheet, a flat sheet and then a comforter over the top.
Is anyone else confused yet cos i am!! hehe! But it works out much cheaper to buy this bed in a back thing..
U get them a lot of places but the cheapest i have found them is in bed bath and beyond. BB&B is in Florida Mall...so to all September 6ers...Whos with me??? im going there on our second day when we can go shopping to buy my bed in a bag...
Dependent on what pattern etc u get the prices range from $60-$100. So not too bad. Im going for one thats just short of 60 :)
Heres a little piccie to describe it all for u...so no one else is majorly confused like i was! My sister goes to Orlando a lot and so she helped me out :)

Heres a pic incase u majorly confused like me is...

I was getting confused with the duvet/comforter thing myself (I was looking for bwdding on the walmart site a while back). So a duvet has patterns and things so you don't need the cover, and a comforter is like a quilt?

Yeah, you can get them here in the UK too, I bought a few for my suitcase as I'm trying to get everything into one case so I don't have to lug two cases and my laptop round with me.

nah zan they dont have duvets like we do... here we have a duvet and then a patterned cover to go over it and we secure it with buttons or press studs.
in usa they only have patterned duvets which u sleep under with a flat sheet between u and the duvet thingy....called a comforter. get it now??
Altho they are catching on over in the states and now u can buy covers for ur comforter to change the look of ur comforter. Basically a duvet cover thing. U get it now?

The Air Conditioning in your apartment can get FREEZING!!!!! So you'll definitely want more than a sheet. I used my comforter ALL year. They sell bed in bags at Walmart.

Sandra's getting me a sheet/pillows etc for the first night and then I've got a lightweigth throw I'm packing. If it's really cold I'll got to wallmart and find a duvet, if not then cool, I figure so long as I canget through the first night then I can fix everything after.
