Has yummy jobs/disney provided us with a checklist of all the important documents we need to take? If they have I can't find it. Im panicing that Im going to forget something
If I remember rightly we were given a sheet right at the beginning, a step by step guide telling us what was gonna happen every month until our departure date. I think it is a blue sheet of paper. At the bottom there is a checklist for the documents you need to take to Orlando. Hope that helps! Catriona
Aside from the obvious stuff (passport for example!!) don;t forget your proof of payment for things like health insurance and program assessment fee, aswell as bring photocopies and genuine copies of passport, birth certificate...um...cant think of any more important documents!! I have lists of stuff on emails that alexis has sent over the months! I'll probably think of more things later!
For some reason I'm thinking we also need to take the DS2019 form that we had to take to get VISAs done...I'm not entirely sure on that though...But I';m gonna take mine anyway!
Haha, that'll be why I was running around my room like a crazy person trying to find it the other day, when I thought I'd lost everything visa related (im incredibly disorganised, when I arrive in america im gonna be running back and forth to wal mart buying stuff ive forgotten, ie, clothes!)
Is the DS2019 the one that has Certificate of Eligibility for exchange visitor (j-1) status on the front?
let me retrieve mine... It is indeedy, and it has the signature on it to say the SEVIS fee has been paid etc etc
Is that not the one that came back stappled to your passport anyway? If it is not I have most definately lost it lol
Mine was in the envelope with my passport when it was sent back to me with my visa on it. It's basically saying that youve paid the sevis fee, and itshould have a signature on it. It looks like the forms you have to fill out to get a visa,so i kept getting confused between all of them when I went to get my visa! but yeah, it came back with the passport!
The DS-2019 would likely be stapled in the passport. The DS-2019 and the SEVIS receipt are two separate documents.
There's actually a "Packing Checklist" on this website (look to the left under 'Survival Guide') and it has this topic: Documents and Other Important Stuff Valid ID/passport Birth Certificate (original, non-translated certificate) Backup copies of ID's, etc. Driver's license/vehicle registration Auto insurance card Airline/train tickets Travel itinerary/booking confirmation Health insurance Notify credit card companies, utilities, etc. of change of address. Address book Visa (if necessary) Credit cards and checks/traveler's checks Insurance (travel/luggage/emergency) Necessary immunizations/medications List of friends' email addresses/phone numbers Photos from your country, family and friends to share with everybody!

Hey Ona/Catriona! I have never come across someone who is Ona before - really like it, might adopt it now but most of my friends call me Cat. My other friend, Catriona, is called Trina ...lol...so confusing!! Cat
