I am definitely going to be applying. I applied last May but rushed the application together and didn't get a phone call.

Just returned from a trip to see my friend who is on the CRP, it is amazing! So fingers crossed for this time, spent so much more time on it this time round.

I'm ridiculously excited and I haven't even applied yet lol. Has anyone thought about buying a car themselves when they get there (hopefully we all will!) or sharing a car with someone so you can go on day trips to Miami or New Orleans and things?

Applied Before: Twice... I'm thinking third time lucky :D
    Occupation: Full time waitress.

Quoted the car point above: It'll depend on funds for me. I'm hoping to get friendly with someone who has one though. Although I hadn't thought of joint ownership... that could be an interesting option.

Yeah I as thinking the joint option but you'd have to have a really good relationship with the other person and work out some sort of rota or rules. It's probably unlikely that two people would have the same days off though so it is a good idea.

Just a quck question, you said you've applied twice before. Did you get as far as I interviews and if so what were they like? Also any other info you wouldn't mind sharing like how much you're going to save before you go?what month your planning on leaving the UK? Everyone else feel free to answer too :) I'm trying to get a rough idea of what I should do if I am lucky enough to be selected that's all.

One more question guys (sorry). I know applications are closed for the program on the yummyjobs site until June, just want to know how you guys are applying.

That's all I promise lol! Good luck to all you guys, hope to hear from you soon xx

I didn't even get a phone interview, so I can't impart any knowledge there, sorry. As for saving, I've been saving on and off since my first application. I'm hoping to have over £2000, but roughly £1000 of that is to continue paying my bank loan while away for 12 months.
Month to leave the UK? When my start date dictates. I only need to give a months notice on my job, and they have to give that much notice of a start date so visas can be sorted and things.

If you want lots of info, you're best bet is to browse these forums. There's a lot of info threads about various different aspects of the program, whether it be the application process, what happens afterwards, or what things are like once there. The internet holds a wealth of information as well. Google is your friend. :D

Hey :) I'll giv you a walk through in a min when I'm on lucnh break :) do you already have a counter made?

    disney.freak Guest

hi. im on lunch now. and now that im on the computer instead of my phone i see you have a counter made :)

instead of using the "http" link counter like you have, you will need to use the "url img" counter
eg. my counter link is -
    ur l=http://'http://www.mi ckeypath.com/'
    and then the -
    imghttp://ww w.mickeyp ath.com/id/12 34567.png/img
    /url

i had to add gaps and take out the [] brackets as it kept posting the counter if i left it like it was origianlly :)
    hope this helps :)
