Getting the call :)

Hi Guys!
My name's Shayna and i'm from Guelph Ontario Canada. I had my interview last Monday (march 6th) in Toronto for the College Summer program to work at Disney and today I got my phone call from Nicola!!!!!!! I go down on May 14th and am there until August 25th! I am beyond excited! Anyone going at that time?? Let me know! ;D

Good luck to everyone who hasn't gotten their call yet... but i'm sure it's coming. Waiting for the call is enough to drive us all CRAZY! lol but just keep believing and it'll happen!!

I look forward to getting to know all of you and maybe some of us will be going down together... that would be so fun!!

aww i'm so happy there's already people going down with me!! I must admit I am a tiny bit nervous... this will be the furthest and longest i've been away from home and I tend to get a little homesick even though I live and go to school only half an hour away from my house lol!!!

So question for everyone going and hopefully going and who've already gone... lol what kinds of jobs did you get/apply for/work?? Nicola said i'd be doing some sort of customer service job but she wasn't sure what that meant because not a lot of people do it or something like that. Anyone else in that boat yet? or was??

I'm just so excited to meet everyone and get this whole thing started!! How old are you guys and everything? I'll be 20 March 31st but i've been so curious as to how old everyone is... there is such a range of people that apply and everything

Some of you are leaving really early! The earliest start date we could have was the 30th of May.

Anyways i'm Mhairi (18 for 6 more days) from bonny (and blooming freezing) Scotland and i'll be arriving on the 4th of June to be a lifeguard!

I really wanted to be a lifeguard too It's pretty awesome to get to be outside in your bathing suit all day long!! Hopefully I get to be outside doing something!! lol

Just got my highly anticipated phone call from Nicola yesterday for ICP this summer! WOO! Plus it looks like I'll be workin' in the operations, which was my first choice, so double WOO! I'm set to go down on May 14th (coming back Aug. 25th) as well so hopefully I'll see all of your smiling faces there! ;D

Soooooo excited! I can't wait to get down there and meet everyone and go on some wacky adventures! So far it looks like I'm the granny of the bunch though - being at the ripe old age of 22 and all (young at heart though, of course)

I can tell you I know for sure, when I missed my phone interview call it said Cast-A-Way on the caller id, so unless they have a number that comes up Quebec we should know before we answer lol

 

Hahaha good, Ill make sure it says 'Cast a Way' before I run around the house like a chicken.

So, Next week is week we find out if our lives will change for a year! Ahhh. I certainly hope we all get through. Cant wait to see how things turns out. *fingers crossed*
