St David is the patron Saint of Wales, St George is patron St of England, St Patrick for Ireland and St Andrew for Scotland. At our uni we always have a big celebration for st paddys day but never any of the others, not even St Georges, its rather annoying yet st paddys day is always a good night out! Jess x
on st georges day, theres usually a parade through the town by the guides and scouts and sometimes other people parade as well. I luv watching it! is it all over the uk that they parade? i can't remeber. I don't do anything on any other st days, oh except every year i am reminded by my neighbour when st davids day is, as she is welsh. and st patricks day, my dad won't stop talking about it - hes irish, so i can't escape! Yeah Scouts and Guides in my home town still parade on St Georges Day, I remember a countless number of times I had to do it, my parents still do as they are both scout leaders!!!!! Jess x
