Hospitality August anyone? Or Dutch people?or departure Brussels?

Hi you guys,

I'm looking for people who are going to participate in a J1 college program(hospitality) at Disney's in the summer of 2007.
I'm going to depart on the 19th August in Brussels. Anyone else departing on that date? In Brussels of anywhere else?Maybe we can share tips on how to survive in Disneyworld.

I'm haven't got a definate answer yet... but I might be going August 19th (J1 Academic)... and I'm Dutch.

 

dont think a lot of people will depart on that day. Which airport?

 

I just got accepted.

I'll probably be flying from Amsterdam to London Gatwick, then from London Gatwick to Orlando.

Yeah, I'm arriving August 19th... staying till January 11th.

Nope, I'm studying at the EHvA in Amsterdam.
I'm the first one of my school to do the J1-Academic...
Are you at Rotterdam Business school? I heard other people from that school have already done the program, did they actually come to your school to do a presentation?

 

Nope, im the first one of my school aswell! First Limbourg student participating in the program ever, hihi! I went to do my interview in Rotterdam in March this year. Talked to Jason and Christina and shortly after that.... about 4 days... they called me and told me i was accepted..... Im in touch with some students from 'Friesland' who participated in the same program last year... and who did hospitality... so... and i know another guy whos departing at the 19th....so....

 

Oh cool, yeah, I only found out about the possibility of going to WDW for my stay abroad halfway through February this year. Then it took ages to finally get an interview since CMU (Central Michigan University) wouldn't accept me. So now Yummy Jobs got UNCG (University of North Carolina Greensboro) to speak to my school and accept me. Had a phone interview with someone from Walt Disney World last Wednesday, got a call from Yummy Jobs a day later telling me I'd been accepted.
Another guy from Holland? That's cool, is he doing hospitality too?
I'm starting to think I'm the only one at WDW doing Recreation... I've hardly ever heard about anyone getting Recreation.
How old are you anyway?
