    i hate to double post

but here is waht i have so far...
can anybody tell me if i am in the right direction?

To whom it may concern at Yummy Jobs,
I am inquiring about your position for the Walt Disney World International Program which I have heard about on your website www.yummyjobs.com. I am interested in this program as it has been a dream of mine to contribute to the magic that the Disney Company delivers every day.
I have worked in customer service for the past two and a half years, and therefore believe that I bring a considerable about of experience into the program.
It has been in my two and a half year employment with the Cineplex Company where I have gained an extensive amount of experience in various areas. Primarily, I have worked in the concession part of the building which involves not only food and beverage preparation, but also cash handling. While working in the concession division I gained a lot of knowledge about food safety. Additionally, I have worked in the box office sector of the movie theatre which deals with extension cash handling as well as constant guest interaction. Further guest interaction was gained through my working in the birthday party division of the theatre. I have worked with children and have worked very hard at committing to complete guest satisfaction.
I truly believe I can bring a lot of energy and enthusiasm to the Disney Company.
Thank you so much for your consideration and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
    Sincerely,
    Kimberly Lazarowich

I believe a CV is a resume - but what you have posted is a good start to a cover letter. Check around for other threads on this subject, somebody has posted examples of cover letters and CV's before. It might take a bit of time to find it but I know I've read something in the last 6 months. Maybe somebody else will remember the subject name.

IS THIS ANY BETTER?! hahaha i am a lost cause.

    To Whom It May Concern:
I want to create the magic. For decades the Walt Disney Company has been creating magic for millions world wide, and I want to contribute to that. I am interested in becoming a Cultural Representative of Canada in the Walt Disney World International Program. I have heard about this on your website, www.yummyjobs.com, and had an immediate interest. I am interested in this program because I would like to contribute to the magic that the Walt Disney Company delivers everyday.
I am presently working in customer service and have been for the past two and a half years. It is with this familiarity that I believe I bring a considerable amount of experience to the program.
In my two and a half years with the Cineplex Company I gained experience in several areas. Primarily, I work in the concessions, which involved not only food and beverage preparation, but also cash handling. While working in concessions I gained a considerable amount of knowledge about food safety. Additionally, I have worked in the box office sector of the movie theatre, which deals with extensive cash as well as constant guest interaction. My favorite part of my job is when I get to have one hundred percent guest interaction when I am doing a birthday party. I have the privilege to get to organize, and carry out the birthday parties at Colossus. I have worked with children and their parents and striven to achieve complete guest satisfaction.

I truly believe that I can bring a lot of energy and enthusiasm to the Walt Disney Company. I am punctual, fast learning, and diligent. I am committed to completing a task to the highest degree possible. I am also bilingual – English and French- and believe that will aid in my quest to bring the magic of Disney to more guests.

I appreciate your consideration and look forward to hearing from you in the near future.

    Have a magical day,

    Sincerely,

    Honestly, just submit your resume.
a CV is a WHOLE ENTIRE pile up of everything you've ever done in your life.
It's not very common in Canada.

Keep with the resume if I were you.
The cover letter seems pretty okay too.

I submitted a cover letter and resume. A CV just means you can also put volunteer work, etc.... some people put that on their resume. Really, just submit a resume with relevant experience and that cover letter and you'll be golden. I like the cover letter because it lets them know you a little better, and see how much you want the job!
