I'm not 100% sure when the next interviews would be for you, but you should be able to re-apply to go to those interviews. You can always keep going to the interviews they shouldn't stop you from doing that. The only period like that I know of is if you get fired in Florida, you either can never come back or must wait 6 months before you can go back. Sorry to hear you didn't get in though, and good luck with your next interview!

Outside of being yourself I can't really help you too much there. They know exactially what they're looking for and there is limited positions (Especially with Italy's flagship restaurant closing at the end of August for a year). Chances are the next interviews will be in about 6 months.
i knew that alfredo's closing down in august but the day i was interviewed they told us that a new restaurant is going to be opened at the beginning of sept, 2007. do u think there are more chances to get in if i try to qualify in the Merchandise?
There might be, but I know in Canada people sometimes got their 2nd or 3rd choice (we have an attraction so there's more options), so it may not help you as much. Unfortunatly based off Disney's announcement yesterday there won't be a replacement restaurant until Fall 2008 "Patina Restaurant Group will become the new operator for the restaurant from September 1, 2007, and they will open a brand new restaurant concept in Fall 2008. The new restaurant opening in Fall 2008 will feature signature dishes, interactive experience, and a variety of wines, and will also participate in the Dining Plan."
oh..i see.... i just dont understand why they did the selection for the food and beverage if they're gonna open the new restaurant only in Fall 2008...thx for your help, though!
Yeah I'm not sure either, and I could be wrong but does Italy have two restarunts? I know some pavilions do.
i dunno about that...what im sure about is that they were hiring for "patina restaurant group". well, i just hope to qualify next time meanwhile i guess i have to look somewhere else and see if there's any other opportunities to get a job in the US.i've already worked in Florida (not at Disney) and it's my dream to go back....hopefully dreams will become reality sooner or later.....
hmm... I wonder if anyone in Italy got in for F&B? This could have just been a bad time to apply since really there isn't too many jobs if there's only one table service restaurant... I know there's a gelato cart but I can't remember anything else F&B so really they wouldn't need much staff for a year if thats the case.

Disney in California dosn't really have any formal programs yet (they have a domestic US college program I believe just starting up but thats about it). I'm not sure what else there is though unfortunatly.
do u think i can apply for the college program though or is it just for the US citizen?(im currently attending my second year of college...)
The one at Disneyland I believe is just for US citizens, however there is an international college program at WDW but since it's only in the summer you may be too late to apply. I also don't know much about the J1 academic program which is basically a year of your schooling done at Disney.
