I know it makes every sense to open a bank account for people who are in the year-long program. But what about us ICP-ers? Is it feasible to open an account for 3 months? Is there fee to "close" the account? And how the heck would I be able to transfer all that money back to, in my case, a Canadian bank? Thanks in advance ;D
Vista FCU will allow you to open an account for three months, and charge no fee for closing it. You can transfer any money left by electronic transfer, or through a service such as Paypal. I wouldn't though expect that much to be left over - you'd probably be most efficient just withdrawing it as cash!
