london interviews march 21st

so then i got my email today confirming my place at these interview so im guessin those of u waiting from the phone interview results may have heard today
i hope u all get in!
just booked the novotel which is next door for the 20th
woo so excited

 

ive got mine as well for that day-but i havnt got a clue how to get there from Liverpool

 

Woohoo!!!!!!! I got a place as well!!! It has totally made my day as I am waiting on medical school applications and it is really stressing me out!!!

OMG I'm so pleased I also got an e-mail from Yummy today, I got through to the interviews in Hammersmith, *Woowhoo* Now I just have to book flights for me and my sis, hopefully stay at a friends so thats a savings on Hotels at least. I wonder if I'll have time to go see 'Avenue Q'?

P.S. Can anyone help me with details on trains & prices or whatever about getting from Gatwick Airport into London (Hammersmith), better still any people flying from Belfast give a shout, bigger the group the better!!

 

yay im soo glad u all did super well.. im not sure how im getting there i only live like 2 hours or so away so i guess the train.
the best hotel to stay at is the novotel it is next door too the interviews
i also managed to find away to get it 50quid cheaper than there website!..
its a secret tho apparantly soo if ud like info message me
maybe we should all meet up the night before those who are staying over??

yes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i got a reply and i also get to go to the interviews on march 21st cant wait, is going to so good lets hope we are as successfull in the face to face interviews, fingers crossed!

We should have a meet up the night before and go to dinner so that we feel a bit more comfortable. Maybe in the Rainforest Cafe or something to get us in the mood!

Think most people would be unless they're really close. I'd imagine it would be madness trying to get to Hammersmith at that time in the morning otherwise!

I'm hoping that they still use the method that the person who travelled furtherest goes first cuz I should get it over and done with pretty quickly then!

I had my phone interview on monday and got an email today saying I got through to the F2F on march 21st too! Am so excited, will be staying over the night before too as its a pretty early start!
Would be a fab idea to meet before to get to know each other, where are people staying? lora the novotel is really expensive isn't it?

The price I was quoted for the novotel was 150 but I think I might be getting a code to bring it down some....I hope.

I'm from Frome in Somerset, not too far from Yeovil. Although I live in London at the mo so I am not travelling from down there. Although you'd think it would be easy for me to get the Hammersmith in a short amount of time but it is likely to take me well over an hour, probably more to get there. Madness i tell you!!! Not that i'm complaining it just makes me laugh that I live not that far away and it still takes me forever!!! Oh well I've only got another 3 months or so of the big smoke and back to lovely rural somerset!!!

It is funny actually. It probably won't take me that much longer than you to get there and I'm up in Scotland.

 

If its true people that travel furthest get to go quicker, then I should get it over and done with pretty quickly (flying over from Belfast), might even be able to squeeze in a matinee of 'Avenue Q', I guess I sound pocessed about seeing it, but I've wanted to see it for so long now.

Im from Liverpool, and im coming down the day before-either staying at that novotel or some holiday inn nearby. How wierd-half of us will be meeting on that day, then potentially spending a year togheter soon enougth

Just got my email from Alexis-I have an interview on March 21st at hammersmith! So excited!!!! Would you reccomend staying overnight at the 'novotel' then? Which London one is it-the 'west novotel?'

I've just booked to stay at the Holiday Inn Express the night before! Flights, trains and hotels are SO expensive

 

I know!

I'm going to book my flights tonight and hopefully my hotel tomorrow. I'm hoping to end up in Novotel if Lora can manage me her secret code The Holiday Inn is pretty close too though eh? I've been scouring my works London A-Z this afternoon to try and see where everything is!

Are you up for coming to the Rainforest Cafe for dinner the night before the interviews Rose?

 

I managed to get the holiday inn for £71, thats the best price I could find!
