hey there, i read a lot about the first few days and that you will probably need some money to buy all the things you couldn't bring along from back home. but after this initial period: can i live from what i earn as a CM, or will i still have to get money from home to make a living? another thing i wanted to know is if you get your money back for the flight, or if you have to pay it all on your own? thanks a lo for your time. Collin
I think Disney will pay your flight only if you finish the whole year or the specific time in ypur contract... And as far as i know you can live with your salary and if you work in F&B you will earn a lot of money...
Are you a Cultural Rep or a ICP? Flights are NOT paid for ICP participants. You'll definetely need to take money for the first few days, yep. If you're an ICP, you *could* live on what you earn, but it depends on what you want to be doing. I treated it as only a few months, so more like a vacation; I did take $ with me, plus paid for the flight and so on - it was definetely not a profit making experience (but nevertheless a fantastic experience!). I certainly couldn't have done that for a year. But equally I spent a lot of time eating in Disney restaurants, hardly ever cooking (since I can't - I even manage to ruin Pop Tarts!) and buying stupid amounts of merchandise (the 20% discoutn does encourage you to spend...!). So I guess it's up to you!
when u are going TO disney they will book your ticket, and when u get here u can choose to pay it right away or have it withdrawn from your paycheck........ in norway people over 25 had to book theyr own ticket because disney only books youthfare tickets, so for those over 25, check it up, and if so, order your ticket early! because then its cheaper
How much money in Dollars is the best to take with you ??? with everyone who has been who much did you guys take in dollars? ???
I took £500 worth of dollars with me, and I've still got a lot of it left! So it will definitely last me until my first pay cheque. But I'm off to buy the Wishes soundtrack today so I'll be decreasing in dollars :-[ But at least I get 20% off!
Oooo....Wishes.....nice! Those who have me on MSN will no doubt see that appear reguarly in "What I'm listening to". The CDs are addictive...they all cost me so much money. Great to listen to for memories, though!
