hey, So I just spoke to eric and turned down my job at disney for next year I got offered a post-grad opportunity for next year that I wasn't expecting to get, and is not deferrable....it was one of the hardest thing i've ever had to do! I just turned down my DREAM! AH! But I figure disney will still be there next year, and this opportunity won't. So I might still see some of you down there next summer or next year depending on what I decide to do. Whoever gets my position, I hope that you are very happy and let me know ( if it's someone on here). I'll still be around the forums..jealous of all of you who get to go to disney next year trust me , i would match rather be doing disney..but i have to think about my future. anyway, just thought i would let you all know. I know exactly how your feel. The Disney v. career clash. Creates very hard decisions :S Best of luck with your post-graduate studies and hopefully Disney will work out eventually
Oh Lisa *HUGS* really big *HUGS* Wow, that's sounds like a rough decision. I hope I don't have to make the same one. I'm still waiting for a date for Disney ... and I'm also waiting to hear back on my application for Grad Studies (which should go well). I'm crossing my fingers that I can defer my admission if I get it. We have a really small department with very little interest in Grad Studies (my program is a dying breed). Good luck with Grad Studies. If you have summers off you could always apply for the ICP. Although I imagine you don't ... we spend our summers in the lab. more *HUGS*
aw thats really tough chick... its so hard not being offered a place, but being offered a place and having no choice but to turn it down must be really crap. chin up... ur making things happen for ur future, and ur future will include disney at some point if its wot u really want
