Hey guys, just to let you know I'm a former and cast member and im doing another program next year and just wanted to say if anyone has any questions let me know cos i know the kind of things you'll be thinking about. Anything, small or large i dont mind!
Hi James Thanks for offering help/advice its always handy too have. I will be attended the interview in London in October hopefully for a position (crp) to start Feb 09. Can you give us guys any tips on what to expect from the face to face interviews? thanks Laura
hi laura - one huge tip is to keep SMILING!!! ALOT!! lol and theres he obvious like good eye contact!! They may give you a question such as a scenario and to give an example of when u have solved a situation/problem in your current job atm!! I worked in fast food for 3 years so i had lots of experiences of unhappy customers etc so i told them how i would or have dealt with them!!Hope that helps xx
I know it varies but just wondering about how long are the interviews? and are they individual or are you in a group? thanks
i think they are 10-15 mins long!1 And i had a group interview but i was applying for a different position!! I hear its one to one though!! I had a one to one interview for the college program!It was good cause they asked if id ever been before and what was my fav park etc!!so that one was pretty informal!xx
Cool, yeah I heard they were something like that. That'd be fun though just talking about disney stuff for an interview
When we had our UK interviews in june it was 2 of us together both answering the same questions. It lasted no longer than 15 minutes & was very informal. Really didn't feel like an interview, more just a quick chat!
In the ones in March it was mixed! Some people had one on one, and I think the people who had worked there before went in twos...that just might have been coincidence though. It depends on the day and how many people are being interviewed. Just be really enthusiastic...show your love for Disney!! And as Heather said, smiling is a big plus. Enjoy the interviews! You get to meet lots of great people and talk about Disney! It's so much fun (even though you're nervous the whole time LOL)
When i went down the first time we did it in two's but your interview was face to face, just four people in the room, two seperate interviews.
My interview was really informal, the woman who interviewed me had worked at Disney for 30 years and it was really interesting so we spoke about her job for a lot of the time. Just be yourself and be enthuastic about Disney and u will do great!! Good luck i am jealous wish i could do it all over agen! xx
