For those who have recently been hired or are departing soon.... What is the hiring process like right now? Do they send out yellow(consideration) cards still? Also, do they also send out letters/faxes saying "We don't have any spots right now" ??? Any help would be awesome! Cheers!
Hmm, I don't know. I didn't get anything like that when I was applying but when I applied everything went quite quickly. Apply, phone interview, next month interview, next month call and start date. As for anything else, Im not sure but I don't think so.
Looooong process applying for me :S I was just jumping the gun! lol I sent my resume off in Jan, was told to send it again in the summer since there were no interviews untill November. Sent off my CV in July, had my phone interview a week later, was the first person they booked for the Vancouver face 2 face! But no yellow card, and no fax...so I can't help you with that one! But nothing like that was ever mentioned throughout my year of interviews so maybe they don't do that now.
I applied on line last april and totaly forget until i got a call one day in september. I had my phone interview then and she invited me to come for the Face to Face in November. About three weeks later i got the call telling me i got the job. YEAH happiest day EVER!! And now i wait till June to go.
Don't know if this post is still really active. But from my experience, there are 2 sets of interview times, it seems like they recruit in the Western provinces in the fall. Unfortunately, I didn't know about the program then so I missed that and had to fly out to Toronto for an interview in March. They hold them in Toronto, Halifax and Montreal in the springtime. I'm not sure if they have interviews in the fall as well out east. But basically, I contacted Eric Theriault at Cast-A-Way and sent my CV, booked an interview time and voilà . Got contacted within the week after the interview! really surprised how fast they did it
