SCOTTISH MEET UP IN GLASGOW!!!

Ok so for all Scottish people or people who can be bothered trecking up to Glasgow we agreed on Friday 1st June 5pm outside Sainsbury's on Buchanan street (very near Glasgow Queen Street Station) then we can head to a pub or somethin for food or just decide on the night. So to recap, 5pm on 1st June in Glasgow on Buchanan Galleries Sainsbury's keep the posts comin, good to see so many people for North of the Border flying the flag for Scotland!!!! We need as many people as possible!!!!

 

the scots are taking over epcot this year. bwhaha!

 

Well I will be there for sure. Me and Claire have got a room for the night so we can have a proper night out. Oh...my first ever night out in Glasgow! Exciting....and perhaps slightly frightened lol

 

Sounds good i'll try and make it along! Will be good to see others that are going!

 

I can make it for then, ill just get the night off work, hopefully it will be okay cos id like to meet everyone...why are u frightened shivasaurus?

 

i'm lucky I'm not scheduled to work the friday or the saturday, even though that's one of the few things we have on around that time, grr!

I'm still not sure what I'm doing about getting home though. It'll either be the last train to home, the last train to my grandfather's or I'll be stuck in Glasgow overnight, lol.

 

My last "exam" (it's not really an exam) is on the 29th of May... I'll officially finished uni! Woooo! So to try and forget the fact that I'll have probably failed I'll be well up for lots of beer. Sounds like it's gonna be a good laugh if everyone comes along ;D

what are people doing about going home after? are people getting last trains or staying over? crashing on floors available or what?

trying to work things out a bit, lol. looks like I can get a train home from Queen street, latest is 23.49 (glasgow to perth). if everyone is planning to stay later then I'll need some kind soul to provide floor space

what are the other out of towners doing?

 

I have friends who stay in the west end so you are more than welcome to crash there if you want. would save you a bit of money anyways. im planning on staying there cos i dont want to have to not drink then drive home which is 15 mins away!

what I'll probably do is just play it by ear and see how the night is going. I have work saturday night but hey, plenty of time. plus that last train might be a bit scary, lol

I nominate The Old Printworks Bar as a beginning either way ;D

The Old Printworks is very nice... It's on North Frederick Street just off George Square... Tis nice but studentish and cheap
Don't care where we go anyway... The consensus on the day will work for me
