i picked the anticipation on xmas eve, but really i pick all of them.....especially giving presents (which I like more than receiving sometimes!), and sausages wrapped in bacon and stuffing with xmas dinner.....and watching the Eastenders special!! :D

    Ooh, it's nearly christmas...SO EXCITED!! :D

    MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

    Hi Sarah,

You new to the forums? lol x I enjoy spending time with my family too. My mum lives in Newcastle, my brother in Ireland and my sister and my dad in Croydon. We're a little spread out but its nice as you appreciate the time you spend together when you're not on each others doorsteps. I'm looking forward to christmas and new year as i get to see my dad boxng day, my mum the few days after that and my brother in feb ;D It's busy but totally worth all the effort.

No, im not new, but im not old either. Ive been on here for about a month or 2, but i don't usually post anything! I am really lucky to have my family around me, my aunt lives next door! But we also think of our other family, they live in N Ireland - and they usaully can't get over for christmas :(.

Never mind, Chiristmas is about having fun! and of course its busy, everyone starts working madly overtime to get some cash! ;D but thats not bad!

my family's really easy to spend time with...there's only me, my brother and my parents...that's it!! I would love to have grandparents and cousins and auties and uncles, but hey ho...I save a lot of money on xmas presents! :D

    Aaaaaa what a lovely poll.

I put the decorations, but I also LOVE the food, its the time of year where you have an excuse to scoff your face! Seeing family is great, and I really appreciate it much more now I'm at uni for most of the year.

I love the whole giving and receiving presents bit, but hate how commercialised Christmas has got, the shops seem to put decorations up in October as a fear tactic to get you buying gifts before time runs out. And what's with everyone putting Christmas trees and lights up on December 1st? That's far too early! Baa humbug!!  ;)

i picked being with my family...i don't live at home anymore and don't get to see my family as often as i want to...and i can't spend x-mas with my family every year (have to work)...so i'm really looking forward to going home for the holidays! it's gonna be so nice! great dinner, sitting around the tree drinking gluhwein and opening presents...so can't wait!! but then being home with my family also means not spending x-mas with my boyfriend snd friends cause they will be here in munich! maybe i should just get my family down here and we'll have a BIG party!!

    later! flavour xoxo

For me it will have to be being with my family and friends.

Our decorations don't go up till Christmas Eve as my Dad doesn't like putting them up so I end up doing it, but by the time he finally gives in to me asking him to get the tree out of the attic it's usually Christmas Eve.

Our trees great- It's fibre optic and leans to one side :D

As for the Christmas dinner I'm a vegetarian so I usually end up with traditional christmas spaghetti ;D

Christmas Spaghetti....that's a new one!!! Is it green and red?? :D our veggie friend who comes to christmas usually gets salmon, but last year her mum forgot to cook anything for her so I think she ended up with poached eggs...or something equally as lame!! hehe!

ooh, two weeks today and we'll all be eating and drinking and watching xmas tv and playing with new presents!! how exciting! :D
