Where do I start.... I think everyone enjoyed themselves today. Probably the first time I've been to an interview where (nearly) everyone was chatting to each other with no sense of competition at all, and I'd happily work alongside most of those I met ;D Started off with the presentation, given by a rather eccentric Roger, who I personally thought was fantastic...He's the Disney international recruiter and typified a Disney cast member. After half an hour of watching Valerie give us a tour around Disney, we were split into two groups, and obviously my slot had to fall in the afternoon The next 3 hours were a waiting game....thankfully there was a Starbucks to hand inside the canteen + two lovable sisters from up northP) who entertained the rest of us. After filling out a load of forms, I finally got to have the interview with Roger. We went in pairs and to be honest, I think we answered about 3 questions between us and were just chatting amongst us 3 for the rest of the time. Lots of credit goes to Rhys who decided his favourite disney character was Ariel (Bit of a girly choice?!?), and we ended u discussing movies and the like (take note, he loves "The Color Purple"). He really is just a friendly guy and at no point were we uncomfortable. Nothing really else happened...sorry to disappoint! ;D
im glad it went well for you, I've seen it written a couple of times and ive been wondering ... is it at all awkward gettin interviewed in pairs?? or does it make it easier having someone else there? xx
I'm very loud and confident so am not bothered at all. I'm sure that's not always the way though, and hopefully some of the others who attended can give their opinions!
I had my interview with Scott (think that was your name, sorry if I'm wrong dude!) and I have to say it was definitely easier having a buddy there! Both of us were only asked about 3 questions too, I think we asked Roger more than he asked us! Good day overall & awesome to be back in Nottingham in time for the Portugal/Czech Republic game! Best of luck to everybody, hope we're all work buddies very soon!
Big up the gangsta Lenton massive indeed! M1 was clear as a whistle, now we play the waiting game. Longest two weeks ever!
i was there by 8.30 and finshed by 12. quick interview ever. after i finshed i went round London in me suit stuck right out from the tourists. now back at the place i am staying back to work on Friday would rather be still in London. good luck to every one how went. and meet to meet u all.
Yeah thought it went very well, not as many people as i had expected and everyone of them deserves a place so good luck to all. Must say it was a lot more casual and quick than I had anticipated but i suppose they can tell if you are what they are looking for pretty instantly. Though me and Stu handled ourselves pretty well in our chat with Roger. Glad you got home ready for the footy mate, I would have done if my train wasn't stranded outside london for nearly 2 hours due to someone nearly frying themselves on some overhead cabling!
Unlucky dude, some people are so inconsiderate! Portugal were phenomenal, really good game. I was quite surprised how quick it was all done too but like you said Scott, they know pretty quickly if you have the necessary sparkle!
Hey, I had my interview on the Monday (June 9th) and from what I was reading here, it all seemed to be the same... paired interview and about three questions. After I couldn't help feel disappointed - i had prepared myself with a list of ten tough questions and none of them came up. Anyway... out group asked the Canadian woman (I forget her name, but she was really nice and down-to-earth) when we would here. She said just over a week nearly two - depending how busy they were. And that we would be contacted by e-mail. Someone asked what happens if it gets lost in cyberspace... and she said that if you hadn't replied within a couple of days then they would phone. I really should have asked, if they contact you either way... like if you've been successful or if you haven't. OH WELL, just have to wait and see what happens.
Hi Everybody! Glad to meet you all here. I`ve had my interview this wednesday, too. But i was in Milano, so were did you have the interview, and for what have you applied for? ÃŽ`ve applied for the ICP, which will start on 3th. October. I`m pretty nervous and still hoping that I will be a candidate!
Well, peeps, two weeks have now passed so we shall all know our destiny within the next 7 days! Sooner rather than later please!
