For the UK Pavilion what sort of people are they looking for? Do you have to have an English rose quality lol You know brown hair and posh accent sort? Also I'm worried bout the tieing your hair back cus I have long hair but I've got sticky out ears (which i wanna get pinned back but can't afford) and I don't think they'll be looking for another minnie mouse pmsl
They are looking for fun, friendly people who are willing to work hard, learn about other cultures, and share their culture with cast members and guests at Walt Disney World. It doesn't matter what you look like, you just need to be an "authentic representation" of that country (meaning: if you're from that country, that's all that matters). While you need to be professional and well put together they don't take your appearance into consideration (though you do still have to fit into the Disney "look" as described at http://www.disneyinternationalprogr.../zh_intlrec/international/crp/look_intro.html). Anyway, what I meant to say is that it's all about your personality, enthusiasm, and any relevant work experience.
the type of people they are looking for are people with experience in food and merchandising yet as disney is supposed to be an equal opportunity employer my boyfriend applied for the program and got rejected on the spot yet he stated in the email that he sent to yummy jobs that he has been going there for over 20 years and has customer service experience but none of the above isn't that enough?
As Ive mentioned on another thread.... thousands and thousands of people are applying for very limited spaces..sometimes you're just unlucky...I should know! They can't offer you a job if they don't have one to offer. They also turn people down for having too much experience, because these jobs are basic and they don't want people getting bored because there isn't a challenge.
