That's really interesting!  It's true that the pay we (both the College Program and the International Program people) receive is low compared to other jobs. However, when I applied for the job, i didn't think of the money (or lack there of) i'd be making, but of the experience of just working and living at Disney! To me, it's worth it!
I agree with you Mel, although the article was indeed very informative. I think the little extras, as well as the job are worth it in any case. And the friends and memories you will get are worth it too. Money was never an issue for me; as long as I had enough for food and to be able to save a little, I was happy. I remember more about the stuff I did than how much my paycheck was. Experiences like these are what make you and what will help you. Dan

Who cares about money.. I'd rather have a low-paying job that I love than a well-paying job that I can't stand... ;D ;D
That's what I thought. I took a big reduction in salary to work for Disney, but it was something I wanted to do since I was very young. And the extra opportunities you can get if you look out here are worth it too. Dan

mmm.. yea agree with y'all!!! i dont really care about the money as long as i get to meet cool ppl from different coutnries and get to party, travel all the time its a life-time opportunity!! so who cares!!!!
yep, the pay is sub standard but check it out. you get: international friends, free access to disney world, free passes to hong kong disney,disney paris and california. Ayear of partying, cheap clothes, unbelievable customer service training, an absolutely mega sense of self confidence, the chance to see america and participate in things that you see only on t.v!!! and of course you get to be a part of the magic,creating dreams. Ill take that over an extra 5 bucks any day! ;D
definatly - money does not buy happiness (lol ok it does but not for this year) the happiness has already been created ;D
