Can I just ask....has yummy said anything about visa appointments yet??? Because I've heard nothing and now I'm so confused!!! Better email Yummy I suppose...

 

Disney Gibbs Michele emailed me yesterday from her house. and she said she would email us when she heres from the embassy. coz i filled my ds-156 form in to early.

I found the guide to filling the form in useful - Michele called me this morning to say i hadnt put a cheque in with my CRB form - i was sure i did! Turns out she found it at the back of the desk, then preceded to ask me about where i work and how it works with closed seasons etc. Bless her for being so lovely!

You guys are gonna have so much fun! I should know ive been, lol. I have done this program, only for 2 months tho as due to a family bereavement i returned home, but i have been given the opportunity to interview again and if im successful I could be there from anytime september onwards lol. I hope to meet some of u guys!

ooh, my manager was fine with it massive weight off my shoulders.

 

my manger was fine with me leaving coz my assistant manger did the program years ago. n she telling me to go and do it. i leave my work the 17th jan then me 2 week holiday. then me last week at home. then go to london before i fly a couple of days early.

 

well done jess, i'm glad you're still alive, otherwise you wouldn't have been my gig buddy!!!




oh, and because death is a bit of drag too. but mainly the selfish reason.

if anything happens to me, is there any chance someone can take my body over, prop me up by the bar or something, heck, even dress me up in seasonal attire, it's all good!

 

LOL I think for some reason wdwip decided not to show all the latest posts when I did mine, so totally got the wrong end of the stick. SO I retract my statement and if they had killed you Jess, we would have made you a nice shrine in the Commons...

Work doesn't know I'm leaving yet (well everyone I work with does, just not head office) and I'm not all that bothered. I can't stand another moment in it (with 12 more shifts to do!)

Also just found out that the insurance company I was going to go with won't insure me, so I don't know what to do now. Everything else is too expensive for 12 months, so I might just get 4 months and go with the Disney one. I was advised that I didn't need travel insurance, just health, so I guess that's good to know. Also my possessions are covered under Mum's house insurance so I don't need to worry about that!
