We have a lot of snow here in Norway already, and the temperature is like -10 celsius. Brrr, it's cold. Two weeks again. Can't believe it!! ;D ;D

    Hi guys,

Not sure if you know this yet, but as you've only got 2 weeks left, you'll be thinking about packing!

I've just got here a week ago, and wanted to let you know you will need professional office-y clothing for 4 days of classes, not just the 2 it says in most of the paperwork! So I'd recommend you build that into your packing. Make sure you bring comfortable shoes as well as there are a few tours and lots of walking!

See you guys out here soon! :) xxx

Thank you for the information, how long do Traditions go on for? I already have plenty of smart wear, so its just choosing which to bring lol

Traditions is just the one day, but there are 4 days total of class wear, so you'll need the same type of outfits for all 4 days.

Good to know :) What are the first days like? Is it boring long days with no breaks or is it interesting?

It's kind of different for everyone, but I had it really easy. The first couple of days are really easy - just mainly paperwork and presentations, which is nice, because you don't have a day to unpack, you just arrive and start! You'll get to spend some time with people in your arrival group and make some friends, which is awesome for you guys. My advice to you guys is to get to know eachother as much as possible in the those couple of days, because there's so much for you to do in the evenings, but the first few days are real slow and you'll want some friends to spend time with. It gets a bit tricky after that because you'll all split up and have classes with different people from all over the company, and some of you will get started at work faster than others.

Basically, there will be 4 days of classes for you, as I've said, but some of them will be short, and some longer, 8 hr days. You usually get a decent amount of time for lunch, a few breaks for drinks etc and are done around 4/5ish which means you still have the evenings free to see some of parks and meet up for socialising. You'll have at least one day off somewhere early on so you can finish your unpacking and hang out at Downtown Disney, or by the pool.

Bear in mind that you'll not have hangers in your apartment when you get here, and they do sell them cheap at Walmart, but they don't sell skirt hangers. So ladies, bring a couple of those if you have skirts you want hung up that don't have hanging loops. :)

I think it sounds great, and perfect that we will spend time with the arrival group, so we can get to know eachother easier.

Thank you so much for this useful information, hope you having a great time overthere :)

Hey you guys must be really excited by now! If any of you have questions/last minute panic's then give me a shout :)
But seriously, enjoy your first few weeks as they are amazing! Also, spend as much time together as possible in your first week or two as you'll rarely get to meet up together like that again (conflicting schedules).
