Bringing Laptop..?

On all the airlines websites they let you know what the maximum size of hand luggage you're allowed is.
I've yet to come across a laptop that wouldn't be allowed in hand luggage.
Standard backpacks/laptop cases are usually fine as hand luggage.

I went in the other day and they showed me there policy, it says a laptop sized bag is fine as hand luggage =] yay but its gunna be a pain in the airport =[ x
