The date they give you is you date to arrive and check in to the commons. you can arrive anytime that day (or evening), you'll be met at the airport by someone from IP they will give you your info pack and schedule for the next 3 days and your apt key. transportation to the commons is provided. If you come in a day early your responsible for your own transportation and accommodation for that night and you'll pick up your keys etc from the IP office when you get here.
