F2F Canada Interviews

I just had my phone interview!!!!!!!Fingers crossed, hope i did good

 

Hey guys, I'm Amy from Vancouver, BC.
I applied last night (still within the time frame for fall recruitment)
Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello
Also, does this mean that my phone interview could be very soon
considering F2F interviews are fast approaching?

Hahaha I know the feeling... sometimes I would try the stare down where I try to will the phone to ring lol. It wasn't exactly successful lol

 

Oh man, if only that worked...
Is the phone interview really stressful
or pretty manageable?

 

don't worry about it the phone interview is a cinch if you just relax and smile

 

I found the phone interview to be really relaxed. It was funny, I was in the shower when the phone rang and the only one home so I ran out of the shower, grabbed a towel and ran to the phone (almost slipping as I ran across the tile). Kirstin is like "Is this a good time?" And I was like "Ya, No problem." haha. How many people can say they had an interview while wearing just a towel? hahaha. How was everyone else's??

 

I got the phone interview too! It was funny because I was being interviewed for that position at Walt Disney World and I was actually AT Walt Disney World at the time of the interview.

I was at Disney world too when I got the phone call interview! I was hoping I would be in Epcot near the Canadian Pavillion but I was at Downtown Disney. Still pretty cool though.

 

AHH, just had my phone interview!
I'm terrified that I didn't answer properly.
Blah, that was very scary
But Kristen said that where ever the most people
are coming from is where they'll do the interview.
I'm really hoping on of those places is Vancouver..
Also, how long did you guys wait between your phone interview
and finding out you had a F2F?

 

I had to wait a month, but that's because I applied a lot earlier than a lot of the people on here. I believe they got theirs much faster than that. You'll hear soon, I'm sure. I'm hoping that it'll be Vancouver too! That would definitely be easiest.

Wow, kudos for waiting a month without going completely insane
(I mean I'm sure you did a little but I'm talking to the point of incapacitation
which is probably where I would be in your position)
But perhaps if it is in Vancouver, I will see you there

 

Oh... I definitely went a little bit insane. It was fine though, it went pretty fast. And yeah, for sure, that'd be fun! It'd be cool to know some people there.

 

I only had to wait a week, but I did interview at the start of september so I think it was probably because the rush of applications and interviews had died down at that point. I would love an Ottawa interview but I'm thinking it will either be Toronto or montreal which is equal distance for me. Meh. I'm sure we will find out very soon!

 

I would love one in Montreal ... its fairly reachable from the east coast

 

Well from what I can tell, most of us are from
Ontario/Quebec or Alberta/BC. I mean that's a very small
number of applicants but considering a few of us
found our way here then I'm thinking maybe the majority
of us are from these places.

 

lol I am from New Brunswick so I am just hoping For Montreal because I believe it is slightly closer than lets say Toronto
