F2F interview for the 2nd Oct.

True true.. I must say their presentation shows you all the sides of the disney corporation, from films to parks to tv shows etc so people who are just looking for a years holiday and not to be part of the Disney family/ experience probably run for the hills!

And also I now wonder how I got by without this forum last year.. I must have been really stupid, for all the research I did, I never came across WDWIP!!

 

Wow there are people that get all the way to the London interviews, spend the time and effort on the journey and possibly a stay the night before... then don't actually go to their interview!?!? Utter madness!
That also makes me kind of annoyed as they've taken up an interview place that could have gone to somebody who had a phone interview and desperately wanted the job, but maybe didn't get to the F2F because there were so many applicants. Some people may have just been having a bad day on their phone interview, but could have still been a great CRP candidate.

Yeh it is a bit sad that people just run off and not come back. It does make me think thought that the rest of us would be constantly glowing during the presentation, ready to pop with excitement whilst others sit and twiddle their thumbs.
This program means a lot of different things to a lot of people. Maybe it was just 'something to do' for the people who walk away?

 

Add me to the list for interviews on the 2nd!! Excited and nervous!!!!

Oh really?? Um I went on the 2nd of Oct... Which was the Friday!!

 

Has anyone made plans to meet the night before or the morning before? I'm coming all the way down from Carlisle and have never been to London on my own before and I think I'm bound to get lost!!

 

Heyy! Yes there is, we planned to meet at pizza express in hammersmith, butt altho we are now at waterloo, the majority of us are still gonna get the tube from waterloo to hammersmith for the meal (its not far) so I say we should arrange a meeting time/place in waterloo, all of us meet and get the tube to hammersmith together?

What hotel are you staying at?

And I think there is talk of meeting at *bucks on the morning of the f2f yea

I've been having trouble trying to get cheap-ish train tickets, now that seems sorted it's time to look for a hotel! Any suggestions?

Oooh I booked Waterloo travelodge too lol, but it was £87 :/

 

The Waterloo one appears to be full so think it'll be the Southwark one that's a couple mins walk from there.

If we're all going for the meal I can meet you at the Waterloo Travelodge as its on the way to the tube anyway?

 

cool well i know a few thats in the travelodge so yea we could have a mini Disney room party before we set off to if ya want? lol
