F2F interview for the 2nd Oct.

Hello Guys,
Just thought I'd introduce myself as I also have an interview on the 2nd. getting scarily close now. I'll be coming up on the day as I live quite close to London, but am looking forward to seeing you there. If anyone wants to add me on facebook, I'm Emily Porter (although that'll probably come up with a few people but my networks are Brighton and Royal Holloway University so that might help as well as the tiny profile pic) would be nice to get to know some people a little bit before the actual day. Cant believe i got a face to face!! wooooooo!!!
i got the email when i was on holiday in majorca! so it made my holiday! there was big celebrations that night!
cant wait to meet you all. but.... i have no idea what to wear!!!!!!! any girls who have any clue please please give me some ideas! off to work all night now! but ill be thinking of disney the whole time!! yay! xxxxx

as for the clothes situation, i cant really speak for the girls, but I'm sure there are many girls on here willing to talk clothes

Hello everyone,

I love how helpful and friendly everyone is on this forum I have a face to face interview too on the 2nd! SO happy ;D. I am coming down from Glasgow late on the Friday night so unfortunately can't meet up for dinner but would love to meet in the morning if that's cool. Where are folk meeting up?

On my phone interview i was told that over 900 had applied so far (before applications has even closed) and only 120 were to go forward for F2F so we've done pretty well to get to this stage guys

Wow they really said only 120 people would get a F2F??
If so that would mean like nearly all of us would get a job!!
Don't excite me too much! Hehe

 

I thought there were only about 30-50 positions. Remember the full staff is twice as many people as will be employed at this time! I always thought there'd be about 100-150 F2F places.

 

well from previous apps and things i got the idea they took on about 80 people from each application set. but who knows

Has anyone found a CRP merch one?? Alot of the ICP or CRP ones I have found have been them working in attractions/ food & beverage... Only found two Merch ones, the lucky devils are working on Main St USA too

 

Ok, how many of us got a email from yummy saying we have the opportunity to change our interview date to the 1st??
I'm guessing there was people that didn't send in their acceptance email in time! Oopsie! Lol

If I didn't have my train/hotel already booked I would have changed to go to the Disney offices
Oh well! Lol

 

Yeh I got the same e-mail. I've also booked off the days off work. But if there isn't as many people on the 1st, does that mean there may not be as many people on 2nd? =S

Yeah, I got that email too - sorry guys, I'm sticking with the 2nd. You don't get rid of me that easily! Haha. Are we losing any of our 2nd Oct Disney family members?

 

I'm staying on the 2nd. I'd have loved the opportunity to visit the Disney offices but I've booked my hotel (for the second time- this one's non-refundable!) and train tickets so not possible I'm afraid!

It still works out better for me because if I had to go on the 1st I'd have to stay for a second night to go for the meal, which I doubt I can afford. So this was I get to meet everyone, which I reckon beats the Disney offices really

 

I have booked the hotel for Hammersmith on the 2nd back when it was still at Disney offices, so it would be close. But I can't risk getting into London at that time in the morning so am staying on the 2nd.

 

I technically could change to the first.. as I'll be travelling up on the morning of and haven't booked a hotel or train tickets or anything.

But- I have already been to the offices, my train ticket will be cheaper on the Saturday, AND I want to meet all of you 2nd guys.
