when u go for ur interview do they even differentiate between the various roles? or is the interview the same for everyone? cuz i wanna apply for lifeguard and idk if theyll expect me to just answer questions or if there will be some sort of physical test? thanks
Re: interview? At your face to face interview, or prior to it, you should be given a role checklist - this will have a description of each role available, and you will be able to tick all the roles you are interested in. I doubt you will have any trouble securing a lifeguard role, just make sure you explain in your interview why you would be good for the role. You have to pass a swimming test upon arrival in Florida, and if you fail this, you will be put somewhere else. This is from my copy of the role checklist - Each individual must be evaluated and certified at the Walt Disney World Resort. All lifeguards must pass a swim test and a vision screening. In the event you do not pass the swim test described below, you will be placed in another role based on availability. Lifeguard Swim Test Swim 200 yards (183 meters) freestyle or breaststroke Retrieve a 10-lb (4.5 kg) brick from the deepest section of the pool (minimum 8 feet / 2.4 meters) Tread water with hands out of the water for two minutes
