Favorite Scenes in Disney Movies

So I know everyone's got their favorite Disney movies but what are your favorite scenes or moments from these movies that make them so memorable? I have alot but off the top of my head are...

Sleeping Beauty:
-when the 3 fairies use their magic to make Briar Rose's dress and cake
-the "Once Upon a Dream" scene (of course )
-the part at the end where they're dancing and Aurora's dress keeps changing color

Cinderella:
-the "A Dream is A Wish Your Heart Makes" part ;D
-when the mice all make Cinderella's dress
-when the Fairy Godmother arrives and works her magic
-when Cinderella is cleaning the floor and singing and there's all these bubbles floating around with her reflection in them

The Little Mermaid:
-the very beginning when it first shows the castle under the sea
-the "Part of Your world" part
-"Under the Sea" ;D
-"Kiss the Girl"
-when Ariel gets her voice back
-when Triton turns Ariel human

...ok there's way too many for me to write any more right now, this post is already getting too long lol

 

Beauty and the Beast: (my all time favorite)
-the exact moment when Belle opens her eyes, and sees the library the beast just gave her
-when Belle says "I love you" to the beast towards the end, and his eventuall transformation when the beast looks at Belle, and says "It's me"

those scenes arre to die for

 

I love those Beauty and the Beast moments too!

In Mary Poppins when they're flying the kite at the end and you know she's sad to leave... tears me up every time!

In Enchanted when Giselle tries to get into the fake castle.... haha!

The end of Monster Inc. whe Sully opens Boo's door.

At the beginning of Beauty and the Beast: An Enchanted Christmas, where Chip opens the present and it turns out to be socks.

That's all I can think of at the moment. And I had loads too!

 

The Lion King:
- The opening scene, circle of life. And when Rafiki holds up and shows Simba to the crowd. Sends shivers down my spine.

 

Alice in Wonderland where she falls down the rabbit hole.

Lilo and Stitch when Stitch reads his Ugly Duckling book and thinks he is 'lost', it makes me so sad!

Peter Pan at the end when Mr Darling sees the ship in the sky.

 

Alice in Wonderland:
- The Mad Tea Party scene
- The Crazy Race scene

Lilo and Stitch:
- The scene whe Lilo says that stitch was a Collie

Beauty and the beast:
- The Be Our Guest song
- The Opening scene

The song Never had a Friend Like me in Aladdin.

The scene when Snow White bites the Apple.

The first scenes with Giselle as a real person in Enchanted.

 

I love the opening scene for Beauty and the Beast too!! It's sooo beautiful. also the ballroom scense I love that room ;D

The Lion King:
-of course the opening scene
-when Mufasa talks to Simba from the clouds
-"Can You Feel the Love Tonight"
-toward the end when they're all fighting the hyenas and Rafiki shows up and kicks their asses hahaha
-also toward the end when it's raining and Simba's walking up to the point of Pride Rock before he roars

Pochahontas:
-when John Smith jumps through the waterfall and 1st sees her
-"Colors of the Wind" part
-when John and Pochahontas 1st kiss (before Kokoum ruins it lol)
-When Pochahontas stops her dad from killing John
-the very end when she waves goodbye to him and the leaves are all floating around

Aladdin:
-when Jasmine lets the birds fly away
-"A Whole New World" part (I seriously believed that magic carpets existed for the longest time lol)
-the end when Jasmine and Aladdin fly away into the moon

- when stitch leaves

- the appearance of jumbas spaceship

- you'll be in my heart
- when kala shows him the treehouse

hercules
- when herc appears out the pool

Lion King
- definatly, the part when rafiki says he lives in you, followed with the whole mufasa in the clouds

Jungle Book
- When mowgli and bageera are walking away from baloo

Aladdin
- where he sings the reprise to one jump ahead, and you see the palace.

 

Oh there are so many

Lion King:
Mufasa in the clouds scene makes me cry every time and rafiki hitting simba on the head it makes me crack up every time.

Lilo and Stitch:
When Lilo thinks he is an ugly duckling and lost
When he talks about ohana

Toy Story 2:
When Woody realises what good friend he has and the song "You've got a friend in me" comes on.
When we hear Jessies story and why she is so upset about Woody and Andy.

- When Jane and Tarzan are in the tree doin' the hand thing, when he realizes that she's like him. Oh and that music when they do it is soo cool.
- Where tarzan says, "No matter where I go, you will always be my mother. And Kala says, "And you will always be in my heart."

Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl
- At the end where Jack gets his ship back, paused at some point, and then starts shouting orders... love it lol.
- Theres also a bit somewhere in the three films that he is in a boat in the middle of the ocean and he goes... "And really bad eggs.... Pause... DRINK UP ME HARTIES YO HO!" amazin! lol oh how I want to be a pirate!

Cars
- "Okay, here we go. Focus. Speed. I am speed. One winner, forty-two losers. I eat losers for breakfast. Breakfast? Maybe I should have had breakfast? Brekkie could be good for me. No, no, no, focus. Speed. Faster than fast, quicker than quick. I am Lightning."
- And of course where he is just about to win the race, but instead he stops to help the king out.

The Haunted Mansion
- Where the singing heads do all that "No no wait she'll be..." "COMING ROUND THE MAUNTAIN WHEN SHE COMES." lol... "Dad there is it..." DAAAAD THEEEEREE IT IIIIIIIIS" HA HA
- And where Madam Leota and Jim are in the car about to smash through the conservotary like part of the house, and Jim says, "Okay hold on." To which Leota replies, "WITH WHAT?!" lol

Lilo and Stitch
- The whole Ohana teaching.

Monsters Inc.
- The end sequence.

Toy story 2
- Aliens, "You have saved out lives we are iternally greatful!" Mr. Potato Head, "Would you leave me alone!!!" lol

A bugs life
- The opening.

Mulan
- Reflecton.

Toy story
- Woody, "BUZZ YOU'RE FLYING!!!" Buzz, "This isn't flying... This is falling with style!" ;D

Pocahontas
- Where she waves to him at the end.

The Santa Clause
- Where Santa Clause drops everyones presents that they wanted as a child from his sleigh.
- Where Charlie has all the chairs with antlers on and him at the back sayin' "Comet we just stopped!"... and stuff like that lol.

The Lion King
- Circle of life
- The Rafiki/ Mufasa in the stars/ "You can either run from it... Or... You can learn from it. So what are you going to do now?!" "Well first... I'm gonna take you're stick!" Scene lol.

Cool Runnings
- Sanka, "I'm freezing my royal Rastafarian nay-nays off!" HA HA!
- Derice, "Sanka, you dead?" Sanka, "Ya man!"
- And when they crash at the end, and they want to finnish the race, and then everyone starts the slow clap lol.

Aladdin
- One jump (reprise).

The mighty ducks
- Where they all start "quacking" at the teacher lol. I tried to do that once and ended up in big trouble lol.

The little mermaid
- Kiss the girl.

The fox and the hound
- "And we'll always be friends... forever." lol

Peter Pan
- Second star to the right (Opening sequence)
- When the ship first starts to fly off from Neverland. That music is truely amazingly AWSOME!!!
- And when Mr. Darling realizes that Peter Pan is real, when he notices the ship in the clouds.

Fantasia
- Where mickey comes on to talk to the conductor.

Pinocchio
- When you wish upon a star.

and FINALLY!... Beauty and the Beast (Sorry I really had to leave this one till last)
- The whole flippin' thing. LOVE IT!

The mickey short "plane crazy"
- When mickey wants a kiss from minnie, but she refuses, so he takes her for a wild ride in his plane, scaring the shit out of her.. he then "steals" a kiss from her, which leads to minnie slapping him across the face...

The silly symphony "Santa's workshop"
- The whole frikkin' thing is brilliant

Dumbo
- When Dumbo gets drunk and dreams of pink elephants (what the hell was Disney thinking btw)

Mickey short "Fire Fighters"
- When Mickey rescues Minnie from the burning building and they fall down to the ground using some pants as a parachute, it ends with them singing "Mickey - Minnie - la la la la lala" and they kiss twice.... so cute...

Mickey short "Pioneer days"
- The indian dance

 

a bugs life
where they explain the bird idea and it goes to flick similing

Finding nemo
the very beginning where he picks nemo's egg up

pirates 1
the arrival of jack, the music is to die for

robin hood
the part where they fear robin is dead at the end

 

haha-- what I'm getting from this post is
a: we all like disney movies
and
b: it would be shorter to list the scenes that are not our favourites.

but anyways, here goes. Obviously, I like most of the classic ones that have been said. My fave movie is Beauty and the beast, and all the other classics are up there. Here are my less conventional faves:

Hercules: Zero to Hero

Brother Bear (love this film by the way): the song on my way and the fishing scene, and the moose

Mary Poppins: Step in Time... and Dick van Dyke's character in general

Aladdin: The opening scene, with the french fry maker. Cracks me up.

Mulan: The song about making a man out of you, when the guy says he shouldn't have skipped gym and the other guy accidentally grabs his foot instead of a fish. haha

Enchanted: all the little subtle parts that remind me of other movies. genius. and the happy working song, "now friends even though you're vermin" lol

Most of the scenes when Ariel is above the water.

Nemo:
Dori!! Love her! All scenes with her.

Beauty and the Beast:
When Belle helps Beast after the wolf attack and they're starting to get along. And the ballroomscene when she's dancing in her yellow dress. And of course when Beast turns back to a man ;D

 

its the music that makes the scenes work, trying watching a muted version of beauty and the beast... its not the same

 

the rescuers:

when penny says her prayers and then starts to cry . --> so sad


robin hood:

when robin and marion are dancing through the forest at night...
