Well in my defense, I'm from Edmonton, where -40 is not uncommon. As for as I'm concerned, it has yet to be really cold in Toronto. But I will definitely bring some sweaters and stuff for next year, because I know that once I get accustomed to 30-40 degrees in the summers, it will feel a lot colder come winter! But you just got back!
I know! It's insane! But your date is drawing nearer too! You've hit double digits now, yay!!! I've almost got it sorted out, I think.... lol Just the medical insurance is the biggest thing right now.

hi everyone congratulations to you all I lnow most of you are starting your new adventures but if you did have time I was wondering if u could give me any info on what to expect at the f2f interviews as mine is on 19th feb? fingers crossed please guys xxx
Hey Tink! If I could offer three helpful hints and tips, here you go: 1. Smile and introduce yourself to all of the other candidates. Chances are, they are just as nervous as you are and it helps to make friends since, some of the people you are interviewing could very well be people you will be working and living with. It will also ease a lot of the tension (during my interview, I had a lonnnnnnnng break and took a group for a super mini tour of Toronto...well, we actually just went for lunch but I pretended to be a tour guide before it got annoying) ;D 2. Dress the part. Follow the Disney look (business attire) and walk with confidence. 3. Find three points, examples and experiences that are relevant to this job and talk about them with passion, excitement and enthusiasm. Practice in front of a mirror, your parents, your dog, budgie or goldfish. Above all, Interviews both conducting them and experiencing are an ongoing skill to master. It takes time, but you learn from them and they get easier. I wish you the best of luck and hope this was helpful. Please feel free to contact me if you have any more questions! All the best, Jen
