yeah, if you leave a good tip you will generally get better service during the course of an evening than someone who leaves nothing! in bars and clubs i would always leave a dollar a drink or a little more if i was having cocktails or something and always at least 15% of the bill in restaurants (usually more tho, especially if the service had been great!) Its so depressing back in the UK tho, people go out to eat and spend £50-odd on a meal and then leave you like, 50p and think they are doing you some amazing favour! urghhhh!
disney guy - just some rough costs for you Average weekly pay is around $150 grocery = around $30 eating out x 3 (mickeyD's. golden corral, cicis, subways etcv i.e. cheapy) = around $25 - $45 taxi to cowboys and back = $8 entry to cowboys = $6 (free beer 10-1 but with tips around $5-10) lasses/lads = around $5 call card home / mobile top = around $10 travel to universal 25c either way on i-ride nice meal out around $25 unless eating in disney then around 20-$30 but some weeks you might live off subways and others u will cook so as you can see $150 is easily enough
Cheers (its rob from your fb lol) i though the average pay was $50 per week? Cowboys (that sounds funny lol)
nah the average is more like $150 of you wrk all your hours e.g. rate is approx $8 an hour scheduled 32 hours = 256 - tax (around 10% i think) = 230 - rent around 90 = $140ish 50 is if you ER a lot also if you work over 6 days then you get paid overtime and if you work over a set amount of hours you get overtime too which adds up - also some roles get enhanced pay e.g. assignor in the restaraunt used to get more than regular podium staff something like 50c extra an hour which again added up plus you were always working 9+ hour days
and cowboys is awesome totally a must on saturday - its a huge club / bar that plays country music with a floor where everyone line dances -theres pool tables, 4/5 bars, djs, comps like e.g. best chest in the west lol where people can win stuff, outside is more bars and seating and they usually have a burger bar there and sometimes have random alcohol give aways and stuff - its in really dodgy downtown orlando but soooo much fun and under 21's can get in there
That sounds so funny line dancing lol Cant imagine a club giving away free drink, that wouldn't happen in Scotland!
free drinks plus $1 cocktail of the night, chillers has $1 drinks (another club) drinks do tend to be cheap even in disney itself a pint of american beer is about $4 which when you think about it is pretty cheap also if you go to seaworld/busch gardens they own a brewery and they do their own beer cheap plus you can do the free tastings in the uk i can easily spend £60+ on a night out in orlando could manage on $30 everythign is a lot cheaper and cos you pay rent directly from your pay you never miss it so whatever you earn you spend its not liek voer ehre where you get paid and have to pay all your bills seperatey
