yay! Like I said before, Ive not really got into the trivia chains before so if I post a question thats already been used then Im sorry!!!

Two years ago, which British singers did Disney ask to record a cover of 'Beauty and the Beast'?

 

after spending an abominal amount of time searching for the answer, I am pleased to announce that it was H and Claire, formerly of steps, who, co-incidentally, I saw making a video for a steps song in Universal Studios in Florida (and being only 16 at the time, I was incredibly star struck...and managed to catch them on camcorder!!! )


of all people in the WORLD to sing it.....why they hell were they chosen??

 

at least it wasn't ant and dec asked to sing another song ;D ;D ;D ;D

I think it would be pretty hard to find the answer if it was....I'm waiting confimation from Michelle that I got it right before I continue.....

I know I'm not Michelle but I am pretty sure the answer's right! There are much better versions out there than theirs though- its pretty average! :-\

As Charolotte said, you're right Ellen!!

I have no idea why Disney approached them! At the time though they were quite popular among 'the kids' as theyd just left steps and were presenting on SMTV so they had quite a lot of exposure!!

Although they disappeared into obscurity not long after they recorded the song!! Its a shame - H was lovely!! Claire on the other hand...

DACS is the Digital Animation Control System. According to an oldish book I have its 72000- but its probably way more than that now!!!! :
