opticians

Hey there guys,

How much are the opticians out there in Florida? Are frames and lenses expensive? What about eye tests are they costly too? Any feedback would be great, thanks! Kev

 

Looked in to doing it and glasses were slightly more expensive than over in the UK. Tests were alot more expensive

If you buy the additional insurance (optical cover is extra to normal cover) while over there though you can get money off

 

arrgh, I just asked this question on another thread! guess that will teach me to check before clicking, what about contact lenses?

 

If you know your perscription you can buy contact lenses online cheaply - I did anyway

 

I do know, but I hink if you order online you have to fax them a copy of an up to date eye test, which I would have to get done there I think.

Unless you know a site where you can just order them?

 

The one I did just asked for an opticians address so I filled in my UK one and they sent them to me. Can't remember the address though. I think it was Visiondirect.com
