Hiya Lonja,

I think the only way you can load an picture is by using the ---><---- command and put a http link in that. The only thing is that I don't think you can uploard the picture directly to VLB forum. You probably have to have it save on a webspace like geocities and then just link it to that. That's what I do It's probably better that way since your image would never be deleted.

Well, we used to be able to upload a picture without the using the imagelink but it might of been taken out. I will write to Andy (Vistaway) and I'll ask him about it.

Yep...seems to work fine.

You need to click the 'Additional Option'; link at the bottom of the post reply screen to upload a pic.

That's my new son, by the way (born Sunday)!

But I couldn't view the picture. I get..

It seems that you are not allowed to download or view attachments on this board. 

...and I'm not getting any additional options for uploading pictures.

 

Okay, I think I figured it out...can you try again please?

Their are certain permissions (such as viewing and posting pics) that are based on the membergroup you are in. For some reason, the default for most members and mods is 'off' for this option.

Now I can see the option to add picture and I see picture now too So it works now.

I also turned on a few extra features (mostly poll and calendar features) for most users.

How come mine is just an attachment and doesn't reveal an actual photo??

Well, I think it needs to be a picture file like jpg or gif. The file above is a Adobe Acrobat file and I don't think the board reads that file as a picture file.
