The waiting game.......

hey all! i know there have been separate threads for each interview day, but now that they are gone, i feel like we should all group back together once again, instead of being in separate chats! that way not only do we get to chat to more people, you can share your F2F experience with some of those that wasn't on your interview day!

let us know how you think it went and who interviewed you!

i personally think mine went pretty well! (at least i hope so lol), im soooo sorry but i cant for the life of me remember the girls name that i was interviewed with!! eek! buttt we (well I) gave her the nickname of Barney (she knows why haha )

also Hollis interviewed me, she was reeealy nice, and made me feel very relaxed! and i actually quite enjoyed it

 

Ha, the thread title made me think you'd come up with an actual game to play while we wait...

 

That would be a good way of taking our minds of it, while we wait!!

 

Haha! Nahh sorry! I just can't stop thinking about it now so wanting to chat to other interviewees as much as possible lol

 

Me & Elin have been texting & msn-ing, just cant stop talking about it! Also we're all in same boat so its helping me to talk this all out... Gotta find something to do! Yummy will get back to us before the 3 weeks, Jason said to us that if Hannah had her way we'd know in a week. I was like...oh my lady gaga.

Also X Factor is not helping my nerves, I don't want bad news! :

 

Someone else that is feeling the i am. I was just watching it thinking i am glad i am not being told if i have it face to face, i would be even more a bag of nerves than i am already. I am going to try and do loads of overtime at work to take my mind of it, if i can but ill be checking my emails every 5 minutes. I may purposly leave my phone at home!!!

I know, I properly lol'd at the 'oh my lady gaga' - I may steal this comment, with a reference at the end, of course.

Well, as I mentioned to a few of you, I had a dream last night that was x factor style, where I got told I was unsuccessful, but in another scene of my dream, Jason had to escort me out because I was shaking too much and causing too much of a scene.

I think mine went as well as it could, but I sometimes feel like I screwed up. Hollis was such a lovely person, and definitely made me feel more relaxed.

I also had quite a nice conversation with Hannah beforehand, and she also put me at ease. I'm pretty sure I've just repeated myself from another thread, but oh well.

I am now keeping myself entertained by looking up making halloween decorations and planning a small dinner party. Nothing too wild lol.

 

I've actually been more worried today than I was before the interview. I guess it's because I'm feeling that it's all out of my hands now, and I can't do anything else to help my chances. :S

I think the interview itself went ok. I was with a girl called Laura, and everyone who was waiting at the same time as me was a Disney store employee! (Laura included). It was nice because we had totally different reasons and experiences, which really helped me, I think. Hollis was lovely, but almost too lovely - to the point where I couldn't get any kind of read off her as to how well we may have done.

Argh, I just really need time to go quickly now, this is the worst wait of them all. Working didn't even help me, I was going through the motions, but I wasn't really there!

 

Gary, just watched the vlog. I am outraged that someone left dough balls on their plate.

Ha I left a plate of dough balls! But I had to eat & run! Glad I didnt get recorded - bloody long day! Was just coming down from the interview, the buzz was wearing off rapidly after bouncing out of Disney HQ at 7!

I was pretty damn close to saying that in my interview, I managed to stop myself thankfully.

Feels like a million years ago since Friday!

 

gutted I couldn't come to the meal and meet people, but with interviews being late, i had to run for the tube to get the train back... argh!

glad everyone feels they went ok, +gary I know what you mean, i kind of enjoyed mine too!

fingers crossed!

(I'm kinda cursing getting a blackberry now, it was kind of nice to not have my emails right there in front of me all day... eep!!)

Now that I've come down from all the emotions of the interview its hitting my how long these three weeks are going to feel! I'm glad my hotmail got messed up and now isn't synched to my blackberry, because I know every junk email would have me terrified! I hope Disney make their decisions quickly because I know yummy will let us know as soon as they can, hopefully sooner rather than later!

 

Well talking with others, we all said Yummy tend to give themselves the extra time however I think they usually always get back to people way before the deadline. If Hannah has her way we could know by this time next week! So we will have to see if she does! I don't know if I prefer the not knowing a certain date like our phone interview emails or the we-kinda-knew-it-would-be-friday face to face emails...

Apparently Disney would have confirmed who they wanted by last night & now its upto Yummy to sort the details... eek.

 

Can't use the quote button cos I'm on my bb but that last paragraph really scared me! Even though I know there's nothing else I can do now the fact that the decision has already been made is pretty scary!

It wasn't me!! Blame Amy I know though, I keep thinking that someone has already decided what I'm going to be doing for a whole year of my life, they just haven't told me yet!
