Guest Service Guidelines

    Can anyone remember these nightmare things we had to remember?

    Make eye contact and smile, that's about all I got to!

    All i remember is the sentence they used to make us remember it
    Mickey Gets Salted Popcorn During Parade Time
    or something like that

    oh yeah, i remember those! and i had the total deja vu when i started work at hard rock cafe and they gave us a little card with guidelines on there as well, almost the same as disney!

    some things, crazily enough, you never forget! Here goes (i think)

    Make Eye Contact and Smile
    Greet and Welcome Each and Every Guest
    Seek Out Guest Contact
    Provide Immediate Service Recovery
    Display Appropriate Body Language at All Times
    Preserve the "Magical" Guest Experience
    Thank Each and Every Guest

    ha ha ha, disney has made me into the customer service machine, i get praise on it in every job i take. such a good tool to have.

    5 years since i went to disney and i am still using the disney point!!!!!!

    Oh my god Toffee Girl, who are you!?

    I have my ideas but don't quite know!

    I can't believe anyone who worked at the UK while I was there actually knew the 7 service guidelines! I'm impressed!

    As for the point, funny story. When I left Disney I went to work for an airline and kept asking where the staff toilets were. I could not believe that staff in uniform were able to go to the same loo's as the public! What a culture shock!
